ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, New York — The Bard College Conservatory of Music will host a recital and masterclass featuring the internationally acclaimed Horszowski Trio on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm (EDT). The event will take place at the Bitó Conservatory Building, Performance Space and is free and open to the public.

Horszowski Trio to Present Recital and Masterclass at Bard College Conservatory of Music – Education

Formed in 2011, the Horszowski Trio—Jesse Mills (violin), Ole Akahoshi (cello), and Rieko Aizawa (piano)—has rapidly established itself as a leading voice in contemporary chamber music. The ensemble has earned critical acclaim for performances described as “lithe, persuasive” by The New York Times, “eloquent and enthralling” by The Boston Globe, and as “the most compelling American group to come on the scene” by The New Yorker.

The afternoon programme will include a live recital followed by a masterclass, offering audiences and students alike an opportunity to experience the Trio’s interpretative insight and collaborative approach at close range.
