The Ken and Sandy Beall Cello Plus Chamber Music Festival is set to showcase a trio of concerts during the week of October 6 at Michigan State University, presenting an eclectic selection of chamber music styles ranging from classical symphonies to jazz-infused performances.

On Monday, October 6, at 7 p.m., Camerata Michigan, led by MSU alumnus and conductor Tigran Shiganyan, will perform Joseph Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante alongside additional chamber compositions.

The festival continues on Wednesday, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. with Jazz Infusion, a concert featuring Grammy Award-winning pianist Taylor Eigsti, MSU bassist Rodney Whitaker, and special guests. This event explores chamber music through a jazz perspective, offering a genre-blending experience.

Both of these concerts will be held at the Fairchild Theatre, located at 542 Auditorium Road in East Lansing.

The final concert, titled Gems for Cellos, is scheduled for Friday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. It will take place at Cook Recital Hall, 333 West Circle Drive, East Lansing, providing a closing celebration of cello-centric chamber works.

Tickets for reserved seating at individual concerts are priced at $19 for adults, $17 for seniors aged 60 and above, and $9 for students and youth under 18.
