The Academy of Music will host the Sri K.K. Murthy Memorial Music Festival 2025 from November 5 through 9 at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. This five-day event is dedicated to celebrating the rich traditions of Indian classical music.

Each day, the festival will feature lobby concerts by emerging young artistes from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., followed by main stage performances starting at 6 p.m. Highlights of the festival include performances by acclaimed vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty, Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma’s percussion ensemble “Laya Lavanya,” Visakha Hari’s rendition of Harikatha, as well as the Hindustani concert titled “Suran Me Ras Tum Ho.”

On November 9, the festival will honour Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma with the prestigious Chowdiah Award, alongside other recognitions presented during the event. The festival will culminate with a violin concert by the legendary Dr. L. Subramaniam and his ensemble.
