Set to take place from November 19 to 22, 2025, the acclaimed Eilat International Chamber Music Festival, one of Israel’s premier cultural events, is making a celebrated return. Established in 2005, this festival has earned its reputation internationally as a vital hub for distinguished chamber music performances and a vibrant site for cultural exchanges, all framed by the breathtaking scenery of the Red Sea.
Each year, thousands of visitors from Israel and across the globe flock to Eilat to enjoy an exceptional blend of a holiday experience alongside world-class concerts. This year, in collaboration with Astral Hotels, the festival will deliver an exciting program of 15 diverse concerts spread over four days.
The festival’s lineup encompasses a wide spectrum of musical styles, including traditional chamber music, expansive orchestral and choral pieces, flamenco, jazz, and swing. It also encourages innovative musical collaborations. Participation this year includes prestigious ensembles such as the State Choir of Georgia, the I Filarmonici Orchestra, and the Israel Camerata Jerusalem. Featured soloists include violinists Polina Osetinskaya and David Grimal, cellist Alexander Rudin, and bassoonist Eyal Streett, who will perform alongside his brother, celebrated artist Shaanan Streett. Additionally, jazz pianist Omri Mor, vocalists Shira Patchornik and Sarah Gouzi, along with other talented musicians from twelve countries, will contribute to the festival’s rich musical tapestry.
Program highlights feature masterworks such as Mozart’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria, alongside striking contemporary compositions and inventive fusions blending classical music with jazz, flamenco, and hip-hop elements. Reflecting the current realities in Israel, the festival will include special concerts dedicated to honoring the fallen and showing solidarity with hostages, conveying powerful messages of hope and resilience.
In a significant new addition, the 2025 festival will introduce an international competition for young musicians specializing in violin, cello, and piano. The festival’s opening concert on November 19 will celebrate the winners with an awards ceremony and a gala performance.
Concerts will be hosted at the modern Astral Terminal complex as well as the concert venues within the Queen of Sheba Hotel by ASTRAL LUXURY. Visitors can choose from a variety of accommodation options tailored for festival attendees.
Founded in 2006 by Leonid Rosenberg, director of the Eilat Conservatory, the festival has gained considerable acclaim in recent years, regularly selling out venues, receiving extensive media attention, and cementing its status among Israel’s leading cultural festivals.
The event is supported by multiple organizations, including the Eilat Tourism Corporation, the Eilat Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and various partners.
